Spanish fashion group CORTEFIEL (turnover of EUR 971 million in the 2003-2004 tax year) will be coming under the control of investment fund CVC. The latter launched a turnover bid of EUR 1.4 bn via its subsidiary CRI - CORAL RETAIL INDUSTRIES, for EUR 17.90 per share. The offer depends on whether it obtains at least 75% of the capital. CVC is guaranteed to get 55.74% held by controlling shareholders.
