The regional Italian bank BPER - BANCA POPOLARE DELL'EMILIA ROMAGNA and the UNIPOL insurance company have both acquired a stake of almost 2% each in the capital of BNL - BANCA NAZIONALE DEL LAVORO, which was subject to a bid from the Spanish bank BBVA.
