In Cannes, ministers and professionals of film sector discuss diffusion of audiovisual works through new channels

Brussels, 13/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The third Europe Day on the theme “Cinemas of Europe and the Information Society” will be celebrated on 17 May in the context of the Festival de Cannes 2005. EU culture and audiovisual ministers will discuss with artists and professionals of the sector - producers, channel owners, studio directors - on the prospects and stakes of diffusing audiovisual works by new channels - such as the cinema on the Internet and video on-request. “Thanks to the...
