11/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - Graham Watson president of the ALDE group and former president of the parliamentary committee on civil liberties announced that at the Conference of presidents on Thursday he would pose the problem of the agreement on personal data transfer concluded between the EU and USA in a wave of decision in the fight against terrorism, although it was contested by the European Parliament at the Court of Justice. Watson said that Commission had very badly managed the affair and which was not very well managed by the previous Commission. He exclaimed that sometimes one wanted to do to the Americans when they do to us when we go there “fingerprint or photograph them”.
