Brussels, 09/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The joint Cooperation Committee, set up by the Temporary Association Agreement for the EU and Palestine will be meeting on 11 May in Brussels to examine the European Neighbourhood policy devised action plan and the setting up of thematic sub-committees. The agenda will also include an examination of the economic and fiscal situation in the Palestinian Authority, as well as trade. The European Commission is also expected to share its ideas for promoting cooperation on transport and energy as part of the action plan and to outline the financial means that it will provide for this cooperation. An exchange of views on political and regional question, notably the current situation in the Middle East and Palestinian reforms is also envisaged.
