25/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - At the beginning of Monday's meeting in Luxembourg of the General Affairs Council, the French minister, Michel Barnier (supported by his Dutch colleague), requested that on Tuesday at the Association Council with Turkey, “the presidency points out the presidency's wish that Turkey continues and undertakes the work expected of it in remembering the Armenian genocide”. Barnier said that this was a challenge that Turkey had to meet.
