EUR 94 million loan for Brazil

Luxembourg, 08/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has decided to grant two loans, for a total of around EUR 94 million, for two separate projects in Brazil:

(1) The first loan of some EUR 54 million for the upgrading of an oil refinery in Southern Brazil is for Repsol YPF Brasil S.A.. The loan will support the technical and environmental upgrading of the Alberto Pasqualini refinery in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, next to Porto Alegre. The project will raise the...
