Green light for EUR 350,000 aid for Slovak mining company Hornonitrainske Bane Prievidza S.A.

Brussels, 18/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided on Wednesday not to raise any objections to the € 350.000 aid which Slovakia is proposing to grant to mining company Hornonitrianske Bane Prievidza a.s., considering the aid to be compatible with the proper functioning of the common market. Slovakia plans to annul fines imposed by the Slovak Health Insurance and by the Slovak Social Insurance on the mining company for the late payment of insurance contributions in 2001,...
