European Commission and rail industry combine to boost interoperability of European railways

Brussels, 18/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and representatives of the European rail industry (industrialists, infrastructure managers, companies) have signed a memorandum of understanding on deploying the European Rail Traffic Management System, ERTMS, to establish an interoperable European railway system.
