Brussels, 22/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - Viviane Reding, the Commissioner for Information Society and Media, explained at a press conference in Brussels what EU research into information society technologies brings in terms of value added for citizens. The Commissioner also presented three research projects in information and communications technologies (ICTs): the first uses ICTs as a tool to overcome visual problems, the second transmits environmental hazard warnings and the third fosters...
