Improved controls on fishing Patagonian Toothfish

Brussels, 22/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, adopting the report by Margie Sudre (PPE-DE, France) on fishing the Patagonian toothfish (Dissostichus spp), the European Parliament approved a proposal aimed at transposing into Community law the new international measures to combat illegal fishing of this species.
