Neelie Kroes meets Caio Koch-Weser to discuss Landesbanken

Brussels, 18/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - European Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes met German Secretary of State for Finance Caio Koch-Weser on Monday evening to discuss arrangements for reimbursement of State aid granted to the Landesbanken in the nineties. A meeting with the German minister had been cancelled in December at the request of the European Commissioner who felt that there was not sufficient information allowing for the dossier to be brought forward (see EUROPE of 17...
