Brussels, 18/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - At a press conference in Brussels on Tuesday, Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Kofi Annan's Special Advisor, said that our generation can look forward to freeing half a billion people from poverty by 2015. He was referring to the Millennium Development Targets, explaining that the UN's millennium project was a global plan for meeting the Millennium Development Goals.
