Turkish officials to visit Luxembourg and Brussels to prepare for accession negotiations

Brussels, 06/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - Officials from the Turkish foreign ministry will be visiting Luxembourg on 10 January and Brussels on 11 January to prepare for their country's accession negotiations. According to diplomatic sources, these will be the first technical meetings since t6he European Council decision of 17 December to launch official accession negotiations with Turkey on 3 October 2005.
