Brussels, 06/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - The ratification of the European Constitution is "a top priority" for 85-90% of the EPP-ED Group at the European Parliament, Hans-Gert Pöttering, President of the Group, assured during his New Year press conference on 6 January in Brussels. Out of 268 members, 228 belong to the European People's Party component, and they all agree on this, the CDU elected member said.
