06/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana is to go to Ramallah on Saturday for on the spot monitoring of the Palestinian presidential elections scheduled for Sunday, when Yasser Arafat's successor is to be elected. Mr Solana plans to remain in the region a whole week with visits to Israel, Egypt and Jordan.
