01/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - Archbishop Wolfgang Huber, president of the Council of Evangelical Churches of Germany (EKD), took part on 30 November in a discussion on "The significance of the individual in the knowledge-based economy". The new Commissioner for education and culture Jan Figel and the vice-president of the European Parliament Ingo Friedrich (CSU) also attended this event.
