For a Community legal instrument for "Trans-European" cooperation

Brussels, 22/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - In adopting the opinion of the President of the government of Burgenland (Austria), Social Democrat Hans Niessl, on the institution of a cross-border European cooperation grouping, the Committee of the Regions has proposed to change its name to a "Trans-European Cooperation Grouping" (TECG).
