Brussels, 10/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The proposal of the Commission to put pressure on the Ivorian authorities by threatening to suspend EU/Côte d'Ivoire cooperation is an increasingly topical subject. For Poul Nielson, Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, the latest bloodthirsty developments in the country merely serve to confirm the Commission's analysis, when it proposed the opening of consultations with this country on 10 August, under article 96 of the Cotonou agreement...
