The German express mail delivery group DHL has finally settled on the German city of LEIPZIG to set up its regional hub for Europe, having decided against Brussels, as no agreement could be reached. This hub will create 3,500 jobs directly and 7,000 indirectly, and represents an investment of 300 million EUR. It will be operational as of 2008.
