Commission allocates EUR 3.5 million to Cambodia to help fight against high rate of infant mortality

Brussels, 10/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has allocated €3.5 million to improve the health situation of vulnerable children in Cambodia, a country that has the highest rate of child mortality in South East Asia. These funds come from the European Commissions Humanitarian Aid Directorate General (ECHO) and have two objectives: provide access to safe water and to improve hygiene conditions for mostly children living in post conflict areas or in regions largely populated...
