Regions summit in Vienna to discuss future of services of general interest in Europe

Brussels, 10/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The 250 regional members of the Assembly of the Regions of Europe (ARE) are meeting on 25-26 November in Vienna for their general assembly. ARE has invited its members at the summit to reflect on and debate the theme of "Services of General Interest in a Europe of Competition: Finding a Balance between a Competitive Services Market and the General Interest".
