Brussels, 05/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - Franco Frattini told a few journalists in Brussels on Friday that he "enthusiastically" accepted his appointment to the post of Commissioner for Justice and Home Affairs (to replace Rocco Buttiglione). Franco Frattini, who is Silvio Berlusconi's Foreign Minister, and who chaired the General Affairs Council under the Italian Presidency of the EU in the second half of 2003, said that he "knew the [Justice and Home Affairs] field very well", which he feels...
