ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) oil

Anglo-Dutch oil companies SHELL and ESSO NEDERLAND (subsidiary of EXXONMOBIL) has sold their transport business in their common subsidiary GASUNIE to the Dutch state for around EUR 2.78 bn. This deal is expected to be finalised in mid-2005 and is part of restructuring going on at GASUNIE
