ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) equipment

VAILLANT has sold off HBP - HEPWORTH BULDING PRODUCTS (plastic, clay and concrete pipes; turnover of EUR 226 million in 2003 with workforce of 1700) to Dutch plastic pipe makers MAVIN (annual turnover around EUR 1 bn with workforce of 5000). HBP represents around 20% of VAILLANT's turnover (£ 157 million in 2003).
