ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) computers

Computer services group GETRONICS has launched a friendly take-over bid for its Dutch rival PINKROCADE (turnover of EUR 166.6 millions in third quarter of 2004) for EUR 338 million. If this offer is successful, the new group will achieve an average annual turnover of EUR 3 bn with a workforce of 29,000 in 30 countries and will become a market leader in the Benelux, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy.
