Coca cola committed to changing trade practices - Commission pleased to announce end to its investigation

Brussels, 19/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - After his meeting with Neville Isdell, CEO of Coca Cola, Competition Commissioner Mario Monti announced to the press that both parties had found common ground for putting an end to five years of inquiry into anti-competitive practices on the part of the US soda company. "We have received a formal commitment from Coca Cola allowing the EC to close the inquiry (…) and guaranteeing there will be competition on the fizzy cold drink market", Mario Monti...
