10/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - At the meeting this week between Moldavian foreign minister Andrei Siratan and the EU High Representative for the CFSP, Javier Solana, the latter expressed the EU's desire to work with the Moldavian government and other partners, like Russia, the Ukraine, the United States and OSCE to find solutions to the problem of Transnistria, explained Solana's spokesperson Christina Gallach. At the beginning of August, an intimidation campaign was launched against teachers and pupils of a series of schools in Transnistria (see Europe of 28 August, p.30 and on 26 August, the Council decided to add a further ten people, most of them officials at the 'Transnistrian Education Ministry' to the EU's visa blacklist.
