Implementation of new IMO safety measures makes progress but delays continue in Africa and Eastern EUROPE

Brussels, 06/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The implementation of new safety measures for the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), which took effect on 1 July, is making headway although some regions, like Africa and Eastern Europe, are falling behind.
