Commission alerts Member States following discovery of dog with rabies in FRANCE

Brussels, 30/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Saturday, the European Commission alerted all the Member States of the EU to the possibility of rabies, following the illegal import of a dog carrying the disease to Gironde, in the south-west of France.
