Brussels, 28/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has put 12 million EUR into the "Pharma-Planta" consortium, which is made up of 39 research teams from seven European and South African countries, with a view to perfecting techniques for antibodies and immunotherapeutic molecules from plants. The project is headed by the Fraunhofer Institute of Molecular Biology and Ecology of Aachen, Germany, and the St George's Hospital Medical School in London.
