Italian Areo club centrale di volo a vela has to modify rules

Brussels, 20/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has sent the Italian Aero club centrale di volo (gliding club) a reasoned opinion on the grounds that it changes its rules to allow any member of the club, whatever their nationality, to put themselves forward on the election slate for the elective posts. Only Italians are currently allowed to stand which is incompatible with Article 12 of the Treaty, points out the European Commission. Exclusion on the basis of nationality...
