Go-ahead to Europol-Switzerland agreement

Brussels, 20/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - Two and a half years after the end of negotiations, the Justice and Home Affairs Council on Monday finally authorised Europol to conclude a cooperation agreement with Switzerland. The dossier was hanging on negotiations between Switzerland and the European Union which were unblocked last month. Europol and the Swiss Federal Police Office may exchange information on specific cases, with personal data, and are also expected to exchange strategic analyses....
