Brussels, 25/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption on Thursday in Strasbourg of a resolution on the Council of Europe's resolution to settling the situation in Iraq, the Parliamentary Assembly grants considerable importance to the fact that the resolution (Ed.: 8 June 2004) had been unanimously adopted as this shows the international community's resolve to overcome its past divisions and to help the Iraqi people assume responsiiblity for their own future.
