25/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Anglers Alliance (EEA) and the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA) are delighted at the designation of sport and tourism as full EU powers in the European Constitution. This will have a positive impact on angling, which is enjoyed by 25 million EU citizens, spending some EUR 25 billion a year on the sport, explain the EEA and the EFTTA.
