Commission warns Netherlands against any advanced publication of Thursday's results

Brussels, 08/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission will go to the European Court of Justice if there is any publication in advance of the European elections in the Netherlands (or in the United Kingdom where the elections are being held on 10 June). the Dutch interior minister had indicated that results could be made public by councils at the end of the vote counting on Thursday evening.
