After OPEC decision, Loyola de Palacio urges concerted European approach

Brussels, 03/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) decided on Thursday in Beirut to increase its level of oil production to 26 million barrels daily, instead of the current 23.5 million. This rise in production will be in two stages. The OPEC member nations will immediately produce a further 2 million barrels daily. Then, after a further meeting to be held on 21 July, they will increase their production by another 500,000 barrels from August...
