Co-presidents of Tokyo conference call on Sri Lankan authorities and TTLM to begin peace talks

Brussels, 02/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - At the end of their meeting on Tuesday, the co-presidents of the Tokyo Conference on Reconstruction and Development in Sri Lanka (EU, US, Japan and Norway) welcomed the initiative of President Kumaratunga to begin the peace process with talks with the TTLM (Tamil Tigers Liberation Movement).
