Luxembourg, 01/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Luxembourg on 1 June under the presidency of Mary Coughlan (for the Social Affairs part) and Frank Fahey (for the Employment part), the Ministers of the enlarged EU made big steps forwards for citizens' mobility in Europe. Political agreement was reached on the regulation updating the regulation (EEC) 1408/71 on the application of social security systems to persons moving within the EU, in order to take account of both changes to national...
