Brussels, 12/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission is said to have adopted the decision confirming that the agreement with the US on the transfer of airline passengers will respect the European directive on the protection of data of a personal nature. However, it will try to keep this decision a secret until it has informed the European Parliament, which is opposed to the agreement (see EUROPE of 22 April, p.12).
