Sony/BMG decision by 22 July at latest

Brussels, 12/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has announced that it has relaunched its in-depth investigation regarding the merger between Sony Music and BMG, the subsidiary of German Bertelsmann, and should give its decision by 22 July at the latest. The inquiry had been suspended on 13 April when a request for information had been sent to those concerned, to which answers have just been received.
