Initial draft of 2005 budget on agenda of next College meeting

Brussels, 23/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - At its weekly meeting, next Wednesday, the Commission is to launch excessive deficit procedures against the Netherlands and the United Kingdom (see below). It will also adopt the initial draft of the 2005 budget (EUROPE will return to this) and a proposed framework decision "on various procedural laws in the context of criminal procedures in the EU".
