13/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - Under pressure from the complexity involved in its different dossiers, the European Parliament Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Policy decided on 5 April to postpone examination of the draft regulation on 1) nutrition and health claims and 2) the draft proposal on a Regulation on the addition of vitamins and minerals and of certain other substances to food. Examination of these proposals will take place in September, following the constitution of the new European Parliament.
