Brussels, 13/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's annual report on human rights in the world and EU policy on rights, drafted in 2003 by Belgian Socialist Véronique De Keyser was adopted on Tuesday (28 votes for, 18 against and one abstention) by the foreign affairs committee. Ms De Keyser asserted that it was "an enormous victory for the disabled" and that she was "delighted" by the turn of events.
