Luxembourg, 01/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Justice has set 28 April as the date for the hearing of the parties in the Commission versus Council case, to do with the suspension, by the Ecofin Council of 25 November 2003, of 5 excessive deficit cases against German and France, and non-respect of the Stability Pact. No Member State asked to speak (see EUROPE of 27 March, p.16).
