Maltese government chooses Anthony Borg Barthet and Ena Cremona as judges at Court of Justice and Court of First of Instance

Luxembourg, 30/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Maltese government has put forward Anthony Borg Barthet and Ena Cremona for the posts of judge at the EU Court of Justice and Court of First Instance respectively.

Anthony Borg Barthet, born in 1947 in Valletta, Malta, is a qualified solicitor and doctor of law. Attorney general since 1980, he has represented the Maltese government before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and in various international bodies.
