Parliament unenthusiastically adopts "transparency" and "investment services" directives defined with Council

Strasbourg, 30/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Parliament adopted two key elements of the financial services action plan: the "transparency" directive specifying the financial information to be provided by companies quoted on the stock exchange, and the "investment services" directive which liberalises the capital market.
