In Ankara, Troika confirms EU commitment to Turkey's accession process after remarks by Commissioner Bolkestein

Brussels, 08/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the European Troika was in Turkey to meet Foreign Minister Abdullah Gül then Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. European sources say that the Troika confirmed the Union's commitment regarding the prospect of Turkey's EU membership, recalling that the "Union's position has not changed".
