Ryanair calls on Commission to put off decision - Pat Cox expresses concern - surcharges imposed by Ryanair for assistance to passengers with disabilities considered illegal - toward relevant European legislation

Brussels, 02/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The low-cost Irish air company, Ryanair, called upon the European Commission on Monday to defer by one month the decision that it was to make on Tuesday regarding the agreement that it concluded with the airport of Charleroi and the Belgian State, a decision that could force Ryanair to pay back millions of euros (see EUROPE of 31 January, p.7).
