EUR 317 million for Hungary's agricultural and rural development programme during period 2004-2006

Brussels, 02/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and Hungary reached an agreement on Hungary's programme for rural development for the period 2004-2006. The total financial allocation for this programme amounts to EUR 422.8 million, of which EUR 317.2 million come from the Community budget (EUR 312.8 million from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund, Guidance Section, and EUR 4.4 million from the Financial Instruments for Fisheries Guidance).
